The Seven Churches – Ephesus

Published by Stan Obenhaus on

(This is the second in the Seven Churches sermon series which starts here.)

David Mackall preaches the second sermon in the series from the letter to the church in Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7). Here are some highlights:

  1. Realizing the power and presence of Jesus will calm our anxious hearts because he is the ruler of the kings of the earth and he is near.
  2. Four tests of false teachers.
  3. The right concern of the church for doctrinal purity became a weakness.

(The next sermon in the series is here.)
