Defeated but Dangerous
When a lioness stalks her prey, she seeks out the most vulnerable from the herd—the weak and elderly, the sick and injured, the young. While there is protection with the herd, a zebra or wildebeest for example, who wanders from the others is in grave danger.

War on Two Fronts
Verses 7-12 above depict the second of three defeats that the dragon suffers in Revelation 12. We would never have become aware of this epic heavenly battle had it not been revealed to John in his vision.

He Came in Weakness
A common Christmas sight whether on your church’s lawn, in your neighbor’s yard or on your fireplace mantel is the traditional nativity scene: Wise men bearing gifts; shepherds gazing in wonder; angels in the rafters praising God; a cow, a sheep or two and a donkey grazing on hay.
